Umbrella Up – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

Umbrella Up is a game by Pravin Purohit (Assetra). This policy explains what happens to your information when you play it on iPhone or Android.

The short version

Umbrella Up does not collect, store on a server, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

What stays on your phone

Your progress (best heights, lanterns, umbrellas and raincoats you own, missions and your book) is saved only on your device. Deleting the app deletes it.

Replays and photos

The game can record the last few seconds of the game screen (not your camera or microphone) so you can share a replay clip or a snapshot. These are made on your device and only leave it if you choose to share them using your phone's share sheet.

Permissions

The game does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts or photo library.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If a future version adds online features (such as racing friends or leaderboards) or ads, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described here.
